Background Noise

Concept Note

Somewhere between my tangled, old-school earphones and the incessant honks of traffic are the moments that feel like home. My solo auto rides through the streets of Bengaluru become quiet spaces of transition, where I can fade into the background noise. It's where I curate my favourite playlists as I watch the world go by. The unused auto meter stares back- mocking me for pretending this ride is a movie montage. But still, the rhythmic rattling of the auto over bumpy roads and the faint jingling of jhumkas at my ear, blur into a soundscape I never want to leave.
